Firearm Transfers

We are happy to facilitate firearm transfers for both buyers and sellers. All transfers must comply with BATFE regulations and Texas state law.

Incoming Transfers (To Konceptz Koatings)

The transferring FFL must ship the firearm directly to:
Konceptz Koatings, 1740 Cargill St, Willis, TX 77378.
Ensure the transferring dealer includes a copy of their current FFL and the buyer’s contact information.
Once received, we will contact you to complete your background check and transfer paperwork.
A valid government-issued photo ID and a successful NICS background check are required for pickup.

Transfer Fee: $25 per firearm
Additional Fee: $10 for each additional firearm on the same transfer

Outgoing Transfers (From Konceptz Koatings)

We will ship firearms to any verified FFL dealer in the United States. The receiving dealer must send us a copy of their FFL before shipment.

Shipping Requirements:

Firearms can only be shipped to other FFL holders.
We use insured carriers compliant with ATF and carrier regulations.
The buyer is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.

Private Party Transfers (In-State Only)

Texas allows private sales between residents without going through an FFL, provided both parties are legally eligible to possess firearms. However, we recommend processing all transfers through our FFL for safety and recordkeeping.

Important Legal Notes for Montgomery County, Texas

Federal law requires all firearm buyers to pass a background check unless exempt under Texas law.
Texas law prohibits transfers to individuals who are under 18 (for long guns) or under 21 (for handguns) unless authorized by law.
All NFA (Class III) items require ATF approval and appropriate tax stamps before transfer.
